And here we are again- another Saturday, another day of recording, my second shot at vocals for "The Game". I know what I'm doing this time, so it should go more smoothly, and with a lot more attitude.
I'm not a newcomer to harsh vocals, as I've participated in several 'heavy' projects over the years. But recording is completely different from singing live. It's less strenuous, but you have to pay more attention to details. Personally, I think it's something every vocalist should learn. You tend to learn a lot about yourself and what you're capable of. But it has its downfalls, too.. if you don't keep up with the constant singing, your voice weakens, usually before you even notice it's happening. You need a mix of both worlds. At least, that's my opinion.
So here we go, round 2.
(This isn't a recent pic. It was taken back in September.. I swear people love taking photos of me right after I wake up. Not exactly a good look, especially when you're hungover and haven't had the chance to shower for a couple days. But it's me. LOL)
