Happy New Year (a couple days early)

Amid all the chaos of the post-Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, whatever-the-hell-you-celebrate rush, and the pre-New Year party planning, I spent the evening with Meredith at Starbucks/Barnes & Noble, helping her set up a blog, sipping a latte, and talking about just about anything and everything. We met fairly recently and pretty much hit it off from the start. Very nice girl.

I know, the photo isn't very flattering.. it was a long day. Oh, and it's not too obvious here, but my hair is now blue-black. What a fun color!

You probably won't hear from me for the next couple days, as I'll be celebrating the New Year with @J_Boner and a couple other friends tomorrow, and probably recovering the following day (that's usually the case with such holidays), and working on the music on Saturday.. though I do have a post lined up for that day.
