New here and wanted to know what kind of music you play? I also write poetry, a few songs, etc. Looking for the right template for my art and poems. Any suggestions would be welcomed and appreciated. CL

I play a lot of different kinds of music.. it's hard to narrow it down to a single genre. At the moment, it's mostly industrial/darkwave, but I've dabbled in everything from black metal to neoclassical to mainstream rock to opera. I've got plans for an ambient album in the future, as well as many other things.. I can't stick with one sound for too long, I get bored quickly.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "right template".. are to talking about creating a website for your art, or something to work off of? If you can clarify for me, I'll gladly help you out.
Does that pay the bills? You still live at home I assume but there must be pressure from your parents to do more? Or is there a trust fund we aren't hearing about?
You'd be surprised. However, I did have to move in with my grandparents back in October when some shit went downhill.. hopefully it won't be too much longer until I can get back out on my own again. The family isn't exactly supportive of my interests and life goals, as they are more 'traditional' and very conservative, but they understand that I'm going to do what makes me happy, and they want to see me with a smile on my face. (Because Raiv on a rampage is not a pretty sight.) And believe me, if there was a trust fund, I definitely wouldn't be where I am now. LOL
I saw you at a show last summer in PA and I love your clothes! where do you shop?

I shop EVERYWHERE. Not really a fan of Hot Topic anymore, but I do find a few things here and there that I deem to be decent. I love eBay and Etsy.. I could easily blow hundreds of dollars online in a matter of minutes, and used to be guilty of doing so, and often.. now I have some restrictions in place. Walmart, Target, and Salvation Army are good places too, cheap, and definitely useful if you know how to customize your stuff.

I have a LOT of favorite bands.. umm, to name a few, and in no particular order.. Nightwish, Epica, Nine Inch Nails, Opeth, Emilie Autumn, Sepultura, Collide, Panzer AG, Nurzery [Rhymes], Ice Ages, Gary Numan, Velvet Acid Christ, Unter Null, Wumpscut, Faith and the Muse, Das Ich, ohGr, Front Line Assembly, Frightdoll, Carfax Abbey, Psyclon Nine.. And there are tons more.
